Changes afoot...

It's been a while since I last added to our news and I do have a lot to add, just not enough time lately - hopefully I'll manage to get more in here soon.

Our recent changes are that we found a new venue for our Wednesday evenings at The Dale Club, which has a lovely sprung floor. We have a beginners class at 6-6.45pm £5 each and it is followed by a class 7-8pm £6 each.

The 7-8pm has recently been a beginner+/improver class but I am going to try what we used to do at Riddings on our Wednedays and have a mix of dance levels - hopefully it will make a fun and happy class like we used to have over there. The venue feels lovely and in fact we have booked our Christmas Party to be held there also - more on that later.

We currently are in the process of moving from our Alfreton venue at Christ the King Church Hall. It simply isn't working out for us there. There are many reasons overall. I do NOT make decisions lightly, especially when it comes to venue changes, time changes or removing dancers from our classes. Please know that I always have a very good reason(s) but I choose not to air those in public but brush past the issues and move on.

The Alfreton venue at Christ the King have been given notice from Stardust and I will update asap regarding where our classes will be as soon as I can do so. It may be up in the air for a few weeks but my aim is to get us settled somewhere as soon as possible. If not we will go back to Christ the King while I have to give notice, if they agree as I will no longer agree to all of their terms(of which some I deem wrong as no other venue I have used has such terms whatsoever!)

SO - Tuesday 14th October is stll going ahead but at The Dale Club at Jacksdale. 6-7pm for our usual class. Followed by the Dance Performance Team class at 7-7.30pm so they can get ready for their Christmas performances.
