Class Conduct Policy

Class Conduct Policy

To ensure all students receive a high-quality learning experience, the following standards apply to all classes.

Respectful Learning Environment All students are expected to help maintain a focused and respectful atmosphere. General chatter during teaching sections is not approprate ,during the teach time as it can make it difficult for others to hear instructions and follow along.

We also ask that everyone remains mindful of their behaviour during class. Distracting others while they are dancing, or anything that takes attention away from the teaching can impact the experience for others.

Please be aware of the space, the people around you, and the volume of your voice, so that everyone can stay focused and enjoy the class.

Class Structure and Teaching Support Dance assistants will be positioned at the front and back of the class to support learning and visibility. Their positions may change during the session where needed to best assist everyone.

Class Positioning Students who have been attending for six months or more are asked to position themselves towards the back and sides during teaching sections. This allows newer dancers to see clearly and benefit from the same learning experience that you once had.

During Class If talking or disruption occurs, you may be asked to move further back to help maintain a positive learning environment. If you need to chat to others, we kindly ask that you step outside of the teaching space.

Our Approach These guidelines are in place to ensure classes remain fair, focused, and enjoyable for everyone. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and respect in helping create a supportive environment.

Our Commitment We are committed to providing a welcoming and structured space where all dancers can learn, improve, and enjoy their time in class.

By attending classes, all students agree to follow these guidelines.
