The classes at Stardust Line Dancing have recently undergone some changes and the classes at Alfreton, Studio 44 and the Thursday evening class at Somercotes have now been cancelled .
This decision was made due to recent personal issues as well as I knew that there was a need to get the classes working much better for us.
We are now down to 3 classes. These are:
SOMERCOTES VILLAGE HALL
1-2PM
MONDAYS & FRIDAYS
RIDDINGS PARK COMMUNITY CENTRE
7-8PM
WEDNESDAYS
This also means that I can now start working on sorting out certificates for those whom pass the 12 dances - a point I had mentioned some time ago but personal and working time restraints had prevented me from starting to work on this part for you.
Over the coming weeks I will start to see if you know certain dances we have learned and I will start the music for you. I won't be calling the steps or counting you in to start - as you should know the dance.
I WILL give you an idea a week or two before as to which dance we will be checking so it will give you some time to look it up and remember it. If you can do the dance without me, right through, then I will sign it off as being passed and it will count towards that certification.
And having just the 3 classes now also means that I can start to focus more on future dances that we will be doing as well as us starting to move forwards onto some High Beginner dances and eventually adding some Improver dances too.
