NEW class in Alfreton

Today was our first class in Alfreton at Christ the King Church Parish Hall for our Ladies Line Dancing.

It is the first time we decided to make it a ladies only class(although Craig popped in to help odd times, we were basically just us there and we went through a variety of dances, to re-introduce some of the dancers back to it and also to hopefully gently introduce our class to our new dancers.

Tuesdays, Christ the King Church Hall, 104 Nottingham Road, Alfreton. DE55 7GL.

This class aims to create an empowering environment where women can feel safe, comfortable and free to express themselves through dance. Recognising the challenges women can face in mixed settings, we have designed this class to help support our dancers, allowing them to explore their individuality without judgement, increasing confidence and growth.

I love this! We may introduce to some of our other classes too.

  • Please remember you are among friends in our classes and don't be afraid to ask for help from any of us.

  • Lift yourself up and all those around you.

  • Leave your negativity at the door, come to class for that much needed break from the norm and recharge.

  • When you mix with positive and happy people, it rubs off on you! I always say the most important things in life are health and happiness, as you don't get one without the other - so let's improve our fitness and health and let our happiness grow!
